Turning the Page of Hate Campaign

Tom organised and delivered workshops and seminars as part of the Ethical Journalism Network’s campaign against hate speech in African journalism in Cameroon, Nigeria, Kenya and Uganda.

Tom worked for 
Sudan Tribune from 2010 to 2014 as associate editor and writer. Sudan Tribune is a not for profit website based in Paris whose goal is to promote plural information, democratic and free debate on Sudan and South Sudan. Established in 2003, Sudan Tribune a leading news source on Sudan and South Sudan. The site is run by a team of independent Sudanese, South Sudanese and international journalists and editors.
