TRAINING OF TRAINERS
In December 2018 the Ethical Journalism Network’s Tom Law held a training of trainers workshop on media literacy in human rights and citizenship education at the Centre for International Cooperation in Trento, Italy.

MEDIA LITERACY FOR NEWSROOMS
In October 2018 Tom gave a expert briefing a workshop to create a
Media Literacy Toolkit for Newsrooms organised by the Global Editors Network and European Federation of Journalists at the Brussels Press Club. CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT
In 2017 Tom advised universities in Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam on how to develop curriculum on media literacy as part of a project with the Univeristy of Vienna

PUBLIC POLICY
On 4 March 2019, the EJN’s
Tom Law addressed the committee in Granada, Spain on the role of journalists in educating the public to the risks of disinformation, manipulation and illegal content and how professional and ethical journalism enable the public to become more vigilant, critical and analytical about what information they can trust.
